What exactly is Burlesque? Think Mae West, or Gypsy Rose Lee, or today’s Dita Von Teese. We are talking about
strong, confident women who aren’t afraid to flaunt a bit of sass and sex appeal mixed in with a sense of humor.
Don’t worry, burlesque is not about baring it all. It’s about the “tease”, the attitude. In fact, not a stitch of clothing
need be removed to achieve the essence of burlesque…but it helps (wink!).
Burlesque is for the woman who is ready to be liberated. That may sound odd since many consider sex appeal to be
for the men in our lives. But is it? When we get dolled up don’t we enjoy it too, maybe even more? There’s nothing
wrong with a lil’ bit of naughtiness.
Remember, well behaved woman rarely make history….
