| What is a BellyGram? A Bellygram is a short surprise performance by a belly dancer, ranging from 5-10 minutes in length. A Bellygram is a great way of delivering a gift or a message to a special person. This exciting performance is sure to liven up any party and surprise the guest of honor! For safety purposes, we do not offer Bellygrams to settings with less than (4) people. |

In Studio...
Arani Bellydance supplies the private studio, light refreshments, "jingle scarves", and lots of photo
opportunities.
During the hour and half workshop, Raena and Samira will teach your group a fun, upbeat
choreography that will engage even the shyest attendee. This art form is traditionally for all ages,
sizes and fitness levels so it’s great fun for all ladies. The best part is that everyone leaves laughing
and feeling empowered by an evening of “Ladies Only” fun.
You and your friends will be talking about it for years to come!

"As Maid-of-Honor it was my duty to organize my sister's Bachelorette Party. I wanted to plan something
different that would provide a unique experience for all invited. The excitement was felt immediately when we
started putting on our belly dance skirts that were provided. The belly dance instructor, Raena, did a great job
explaining the moves and keeping our class on track. By the end of the class all 12 of us had learned several
belly dance moves and a whole routine! Everyone was very comfortable throughout the class and later that

We are a family-friendly venue and would love to liven up your next special event.
Our performances can vary in length, from our drop-in Bellygrams to our "shows" (20-30 min) that include
several choreographies and even audience participation.
In the United States, bellydance has been influenced by early Hollywood glitz, as well as ballet, jazz,
modern and more to create a distinctly American flavor. Arani Bellydance also enjoys mixing
traditional movements with these other genres to create a "fusion" style of belly dance. Some of our
music and dance reflects Egyptian, Turkish and folkloric dance while other routines can reflect our love
of modern variety. We will work with you to tailor our performance to meet your event needs. Due to
safety reasons, we do not perform for male-only events.
